Minecraft Mod Guides
Official jars, version-honest recipes, and the first-day walk. Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric. 1.21.1, 1.20.1, and 26.1 when the author actually ships that file.
Loader and group guides: Minecraft Forge mods · NeoForge mods · Fabric mods · Mob mods

Fabric API
Fabric API is the essential hook and library mod required by nearly every Fabric gameplay mod. Dropped directly into your mods folder as a .jar, it bridges the gap between the lightweight Fabric Loader and Minecraft game engine, providing standard interfaces for custom block rendering, server-client networking packets, dimension registry, and entity lifecycle events.

Fabric Loader
Fabric Loader is the ultra-lightweight, modular mod loading engine for Minecraft Java Edition. Unlike traditional heavy loaders, Fabric boots in milliseconds, boasts minimal RAM footprint, and utilizes the SpongePowered Mixin bytecode transformation engine. It is version-agnostic and provides instant snapshot compatibility.

Just Enough Items (JEI)
Just Enough Items (JEI) is the essential recipe browser and item catalog for Minecraft Java Edition. It gives you instant access to every crafting, smelting, brewing, and machine recipe in your world without ever needing to open an external wiki. Search through thousands of items with advanced prefix filters, pin recipes with bookmarks, and auto-transfer ingredients into crafting tables with a single click.

Age of Dragons
Age of Dragons is a dark fantasy progression mod: elemental dragons, machines, summoning altars, and boss gates. You build the Extracting Machine, Research Table, and Purifier, summon Common dragons for scales and blood, then push through two boss gates to Uncommon and Rare content. Six elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, Ice, Lightning) feed Elemental Ingots, and the endgame chases Singularity weapons that never break. NeoForge 1.21.1. Photon, Curios, and JEI are optional.

SeedcrackerX
SeedcrackerX sits on your Fabric client and turns the buildings you walk past into a world seed. Download the GitHub jar that matches the world, wipe leftover bits, then mix huts and wrecks until a cyan outline appears. A lift that works in single-player can still fail on Paper, Purpur, or a datapack. The version table below is the whole map. One file never covers 1.20.1 and 26.2.

Refined Storage
Build a Controller, a Disk Drive, and one 1k disk, then open the Grid. Cable is copper now. A 1k disk holds 1024 items, not 1000. The Fluid Grid is gone. 2.0.9 is the 1.21.1 file. 26.1.2 wants v3.2.1. A 1.20.1 pack still on 1.12.4 is the old codebase.

Twilight Forest
The portal is four water blocks, a dirt rim, and a diamond dropped as an item. 4.8.3345 is the 1.21.1 NeoForge file. 1.20.1 still uses the 4.3 Forge line. After lightning hits, make a Magic Map before you wander into a locked biome.

Born in Chaos
Nine pieces make a pile. Blast the pile into an ingot, then put a Bone Handle under a sword. 1.7.6 is 1.21.1 NeoForge. 1.7.5 is 1.20.1 Forge. The stalker warning is a hunt gate, not flavor text. There is no 26.x file.

Book of Dragons
Buy the book from a Hooligan, then the roost map that matches the dragon you want. Eggs come from breeding, not a wild kill. 1.31 is 1.20.1 Forge and needs AzureLib 3.1.3 or newer. There is no 1.21 or 26.x file from this team.

Create Mod
Create is a kinetic factory, not a tech tree you climb in order. Andesite alloy, two shafts, a water wheel, and a millstone beat a decorative train. This page is which 3x3s to craft first, which machines to skip, and why brass waits for a burner.

Alex's Mobs
Alex's Mobs is a field guide, not a zoo. Eighty-nine creatures drop jobs: swim armor, falconry, a 12-hunger burger, a 20-use hole through the End. The 1.20.1 file needs Citadel. Start with the Animal Dictionary, then only the crafts that change a world.

Mekanism Tools
Mekanism Tools is not a second tech tree. It is a hotbar and smithing-template patch: six materials, vanilla crafting recipes, and a Paxel that collapses three tools into one slot. This guide treats each tier as a job. It says what to craft, what to skip, and which official 1.20.x numbers actually show up on the tooltip.

Tinkers' Construct
Tinkers' Construct is a workshop, not an enchanting table. You carve parts, pour metal, and keep the same tool alive for the whole world. This guide is the day-one route: Melter before the 3×3, controller cast in copper (not crafted from eight bricks), and which alloys are actually worth the heat.

Loaders, versions, and the guides we actually wrote
These pages are official-source guides, not a dump of every file on CurseForge. Each article names the author jar, the loader, and the Minecraft row that jar actually supports. Create and Twilight Forest on 1.21.1 NeoForge. Refined Storage 2.0.9 on 1.21.1 and v3.2.1 on 26.1.2. Tinkers' Construct and Alex's Mobs still on the 1.20.1 line. SeedcrackerX on Fabric.
Minecraft itself is on 26.x. A guide here only lists 26.1 when the author published that file. Older packs on 1.20.1, 1.19.2, or 1.16.5 stay on those rows. Do not install a 1.20.1 Tinkers jar into a 26.1 instance and expect the 3x3s on this site to match.
