Creature packs, roost hunts, and night-shift combat. Same /mod/ tree as Forge and Fabric.
Mob mods add things that walk, hunt, or fly. This page groups the official-source creature guides on MC Toolbox. It is not a /genre/ listing and it is not a download mirror. Each card is a long guide with install order, version tags, and recipes taken from the author jar.
Search splits these packs into three jobs. Alex's Mobs is a field guide: dictionary, feeder, crocodile scute, Void Worm carver. Book of Dragons is a roost hunt on 1.20.1 Forge: Hooligan book, five maps, seven eggs. Born in Chaos is a night-shift pack: Dark Metal, Nightmare Stalker, pumpkin bosses.
Open this group when you want animals, rideable dragons, or hostile overhauls. Factory and tool guides stay on the catalog and on the Forge or NeoForge pages. One instance still needs one loader. Match the jar tag before you mix a 1.20.1 dragon pack with a 1.21.1 horror jar.

Versions
Minecraft itself is on 26.x. None of these three guides have an official 26.x file we document. Book of Dragons stops at 1.20.1 Forge plus AzureLib. Official Alex's Mobs stops at 1.20.1 with Citadel. Official Born in Chaos 1.7.6 is 1.21.1 NeoForge; 1.7.5 is 1.20.1 Forge. CurseForge age on older Born in Chaos lines (1.16.5 through 1.19) is not the recipe set on this page.
FAQ
Is this a separate mods site section?
No. It lives at /mod/mobs, next to /mod/forge and /mod/fabric. Every article is still a Minecraft mod guide. We do not host jars.
How many dragons does Book of Dragons add?
Seven species and seven egg items on official 1.20.1. Eggs come from breeding tamed pairs, not from killing wild dragons.
Which mob mod should I install first?
Alex's Mobs if you want jobs in the Overworld you already have. Book of Dragons if you want a 1.20.1 Forge roost hunt. Born in Chaos if you want nights to get harder and a Dark Metal chain.
Do any of these run on Fabric or 26.x?
