About Skin Tools

Skin assets use strict layouts. A 64 by 64 player skin wraps separate UV regions around the head, body, arms and legs, while capes, totems, armor trims and papercraft sheets each use different dimensions and packaging rules.

The tools in this category preview those assets before download. Fetch a public Java skin, edit pixels in 3D, create a Bedrock cape pack, build a player-head command or turn a skin into a printable paper model while keeping uploaded PNGs in the browser.

Choose a skin workflow

View and edit

Use Skin Viewer to fetch a public Java profile or Skin Editor to inspect and change the PNG on a rotatable 3D model.

Build themed assets

Create player heads, custom totems, cape assignments and armor trim combinations for maps, packs and personal designs.

Print a physical model

Papercraft lays skin faces onto a cut-and-fold sheet with paper-size presets, labels and fold guides.

Practical workflow

Protect the original skin while editing

1. Start from the original PNG

Download or save an untouched copy before editing. Screenshots and compressed social images do not preserve the required UV layout.

2. Confirm wide or slim arms

Steve or wide skins use four-pixel arms; Alex or slim skins use three-pixel arms. Choose the correct model before previewing or printing.

3. Export for the target edition

Java skins, Bedrock skin packs, cape packs and player-head add-ons use different installation methods. Follow the guide attached to the selected tool.

Skin tools FAQ

Can the site fetch any Minecraft skin?

The viewer can fetch a public Java Edition profile when the username and profile service are available. Local PNG upload remains the reliable option for unpublished skins.

Do capes made here become official account capes?

No. Custom cape packs are local Bedrock resource content and do not grant an official Mojang or Minecraft account cape.

Why do arms look distorted?

The skin may be previewed with the wrong wide or slim model, or the uploaded image may not use the standard 64 by 64 player skin layout.
