Minecraft Seed Map: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find my Minecraft seed?
Open the in-game chat and type /seed. In Java Edition this works in both singleplayer and on servers (if you have op). The number that appears is your world seed. Copy and paste it into MC Toolbox to view your map.
Are the village and structure locations accurate?
Yes. MC Toolbox uses the cubiomes C library, the same engine behind tools like Cubiomes Viewer. Biome maps are pixel-perfect. Structure positions represent where the game places the structure center, matching in-game results for Java 1.7–1.21+.
Can I find Trial Chambers with this seed map?
Yes. Trial Chambers were added in Java 1.21 and MC Toolbox is fully updated for 1.21+. Enable the Trial Chamber layer in the Layer Filters, and every Trial Chamber in your world will appear on the map.
What structures can I find?
Villages, Woodland Mansions, Trial Chambers, Ocean Monuments, Desert Temples, Jungle Temples, Witch Huts, Shipwrecks, Ruined Portals, Pillager Outposts, Nether Fortresses, Bastions, End Cities, and Strongholds.
Does this work for Minecraft 1.21?
Yes, Java 1.21 is fully supported. Select '1.21+' from the version dropdown. This includes the new biomes and all structures added in the 1.21 Tricky Trials update.
Can I share my seed map with friends?
Yes. Click the share icon in the toolbar to copy a link to your current map. If you click a structure and press 'Share This Location', the link will open centered exactly on that village or structure.
