Инструменты для скинов и плащей

Редактор плащей Minecraft

How it works

A 3D Minecraft cape painter with pixel accuracy

The editor raycasts your pointer against the visible cape or elytra mesh. The intersection contains UV coordinates, which are converted to one exact pixel on the 64 by 32 texture. That is why you can paint on the model without guessing where a flat UV rectangle appears.

The flat UV editor remains available for cleanup, straight edges, and isolated pixels. Both views edit the same local canvas, so undo, import, export, and the 3D preview always stay synchronized.

From cape artwork to a Bedrock pack

  1. Rotate the character until the surface you want is visible.
  2. Switch to Paint, Erase, Fill, or Pick Color and draw directly on the model.
  3. Check 3D Elytra to see how the same artwork wraps across the wings.
  4. Download the PNG, or send it directly to Cape Pack Builder.

Understanding the 64×32 Minecraft cape template

A cape PNG is not one rectangular picture wrapped around the player. It is a texture atlas containing separate faces for the outside, inside, left edge, right edge, top, and bottom. The precision editor highlights only the cells used by the selected Cape or Elytra model, so unused atlas space cannot receive accidental paint.

When a stroke appears in a narrow strip away from the main artwork, it usually belongs to a physical edge of the cape. Switch between the 3D view and flat grid to check seams, remove stray edge pixels, and keep logos centered on the visible back face.

Make clean pixel art that wraps correctly

Start with broad colors using Fill, then use Paint for outlines and highlights. Rotate the model before changing tools so you can reach side faces without dragging the camera while drawing. The color picker is useful when an imported cape contains a palette you want to preserve.

Use the Elytra preview before exporting if the design will be worn while flying. A centered cape logo may split differently across the two wing meshes. Undo and redo store local editing steps, and no uploaded texture leaves your browser.

Minecraft Cape Editor FAQ

Can I paint directly on the Minecraft cape model?

Yes. Choose Paint, Erase, Fill, or Pick Color and interact with the cape or elytra surface. Rotate View temporarily returns pointer control to the camera.

What cape texture size does the editor export?

The editor always exports a transparent 64 by 32 pixel PNG, the standard cape texture canvas used by Minecraft cape artwork.

Does a custom PNG unlock an official account cape?

No. Official account capes are entitlements controlled by Mojang and Microsoft. This editor makes artwork for compatible mods, clients, and personal Bedrock skin-pack workflows.

Can I use the same design as elytra wings?

Yes. Minecraft derives the elytra appearance from the cape texture when a cape is active, so the 3D Elytra tab previews the same PNG on wings.

Why does the flat texture contain separated shapes?

A 3D cape is unfolded into multiple UV faces. The large rectangles hold the front and back, while narrow strips store the sides, top, and bottom. Painting an edge on the model can therefore appear in a small separated area of the flat texture.

Can I import an existing cape design?

Yes. Import a PNG and the editor normalizes it to a 64 by 32 canvas. You can then correct individual pixels in the precision grid or repaint the design directly on the 3D model.
